Conference on Beach Preservation Technology

Organized by the Florida Shore & Beach Preservation Association (FSBPA), this conference is a technical staple for coastal engineers and local government officials. The “Tech Conference” focuses on the nuts and bolts of beach preservation: design, construction, and the performance of coastal projects. It is less about policy and more about the science of keeping coastlines resilient.

For nearly four decades, this conference has been the premier technical venue for discussing beach nourishment in Florida and the Southeast. It was created to give engineers and biologists a platform to share data on project performance, ensuring that future preservation efforts are built on proven scientific results.
