This week Ellicott was thrilled to host a dynamic group of International Business students from the University of Maryland (UMD) Center for Global Business | Robert H. Smith School of Business for a deep dive into global trade at our Baltimore headquarters.
The students toured our end-to-end operation, witnessing the entire export sales and manufacturing cycle for the dredges built here by Ellicott. It was a comprehensive look at the challenges and opportunities of supplying dredges worldwide. Getting a view of market entry strategy and internal production all the way through the intricate global logistics of ocean shipments was made possible by the talented and energetic Ellicott team.
