Series 2070 Dragon® Dredge
The Series 2070 Dragon® Dredge is a modern 20-inch (500 mm) cutter suction dredge that incorporates advanced marine engineering. A unique characteristic of this vessel is its hull, which is designed to meet the strict safety standards of Bureau Veritas for operations in sheltered waters. This certification ensures a higher level of stability and seaworthiness compared to standard portable dredges. Despite its large size and high production capacity, the machine maintains a modular structure for dredging up to 50 feet (15 meters) deep, allowing it to be disassembled and transported easily by truck to job sites around the world.
This model is specifically capable of handling large-scale infrastructure and mining projects. It is commonly used for port expansions, land reclamation, and the deepening of shipping channels where high efficiency is required. Because of its enhanced stability, the Series 2070 is also ideal for coastal protection projects, such as rebuilding beaches and restoring wetlands.
