Series 360SLM Swinging Dragon® Dredge
The Series 360SLM Swinging Dragon® Dredge is a portable swinging ladder dredge designed specifically for operation in confined waterways. Unlike conventional dredges that must swing the entire hull to cut material, this model features a ladder that pivots independently while the main vessel remains stationary. This unique design allows the machine to operate without the use of swing cables or anchors, which typically block navigation and restrict movement. The dredge is stabilized by two hydraulic spuds, and its compact size allows it to be transported on a single truck and deployed quickly in difficult-to-reach locations.
This machine is the primary choice for projects in narrow environments where standard dredges cannot fit. It is extensively used for the maintenance of marinas and boat slips, as it can maneuver between docks without disturbing nearby vessels. The Series 360SLM is also highly effective for restoring small canals, cleaning industrial ponds, and removing sediment from irrigation ditches. Its ability to work without anchoring systems makes it ideal for environmental projects in sensitive areas where minimizing bottom disturbance is critical.

Universal Standard Features
Modular Mobility
Every standard Ellicott dredge is engineered for transportability. Whether it is a single-truck unit or a modular heavy-duty vessel.
In-House Manufacturing
Ellicott designs and builds its own major components, including dredge pumps, and cutter head assemblies.
One-Man Operation
Dragon® dredges feature a centralized control room where a single operator can manage the entire dredging cycle.
Marine-Grade Construction
Our dredges are built using heavy-duty structural steel, marine-rated electrical systems, and corrosion-resistant coatings.
Global Support Legacy
With dredges operating in over 100 countries, Ellicott offers field service support for machines that have been in operation for decades.
Key Features
- Independent Swinging Ladder: The digging ladder pivots laterally while the hull remains stationary, allowing for effective operation in narrow channels where standard hull-swinging dredges cannot fit.
- Cable-Free Operation: Operates without external swing wires or anchors, ensuring that commercial traffic and recreational vessels can pass safely during dredging operations.
- Precision Excavation: Specifically engineered for confined areas such as boat slips and marina berths, enabling operators to dredge close to docks and infrastructure without risk of damage.
- Rapid Mobility: Designed as a compact, single-truck load for quick mobilization to inland water bodies, industrial ponds, and remote environmental sites.
- Self-Propelled Advancement: Features a hydraulic spud system that stabilizes the vessel during cutting and allows it to advance independently, removing the need for support tugs or winch adjustments.
Typical Applications & Users
- Confined Area Dredging: Cleaning marinas and residential docks without moving boats.
- Industrial Pond Cleaning: Removing sludge and sediment from settling basins.
- Environmental Cleanup: Precision dredging in sensitive habitats without anchor damage.
- Primary Users: Marina operators, HOA management, and environmental contractors.
Optional Dredge Equipment & Accessories
