Warehouse & Inventory Specialist

Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for inventory management, cycle counts, parts pulling, kitting, and assistance with filling customer orders. As an essential member of the Ellicott team you will be responsible for providing support to all areas of the company’s warehouse operations.

Pay Range

$19.00 – $24.00 hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Receive items by unloading vehicles, accepting deliveries, and unpacking containers
  • Verify items received by inspecting condition of items, comparing count of items to purchase order and packing slip and noting discrepancies
  • Document items received by recording identifying information
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through bi-weekly cycle counts and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports
  • Receipt material into inventory using ERP Software
  • Issue material to production using ERP Software
  • Accurately pull material according to traveler requirements and stages to production floor and closes travelers when job is complete
  • Place materials in inventory according to procedure as well as pulls product from stock locations.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift
  • Prepare shipments by packing, labeling, stretch wrapping product to ensure product quality is not compromised
  • Generate paperwork required for shipping to vendors/customers in the required format including packing slips, bill of ladings, certifications, labels
  • Perform duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to effectively present information to others.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to collect data, track information, and update leadership accordingly.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and manufacturing software system.
